Description

Inspired by the original CK2998 released in 1959, this numbered edition anniversary series “”First Omega in Space”” looks and feels like a vintage Speedmaster. It has a 39.7mm case in stainless steel with straight lugs and a steel bezel with a black aluminum insert. It also has a black dial with a three-register layout, an applied logo at 12, lumed baton index hour markers, and lumed hour and minute hands. On the solid case back is an embossed OMEGA Hippocampus logo and an engraving of the texts “Numbered Edition” and “First Omega in Space.” The watch is equipped with caliber 1861, a manual-wound movement beating at 21,600 vph, with 48 hours of power reserve.
